Hi we’re REPAIRS, it’s nice to meet you!
“Power-emo-post-pop” Auckland trio REPAIRS will officially release their second single Thanks for the Advice on Tuesday 19 March.
Written and sung from a female perspective, the track is a short, sharp, and to-the-point outburst against mansplaining, and the frustrations of experiencing gender bias.
The release follows a recent seven show NZ tour to coincide with first single Eyes Closed, a support slot for Poison City Record’s Moody Beaches (AU) – and a wedding for drummer James!
The band are currently working on a split 7” release with Tauranga’s Flogging a Dead One Horse Town, as well as an EP to be released later this year.
Thanks for the Advice is available to stream on all digital platforms including Bandcamp and Spotify.
